From output quality to authority
A model can produce a plausible recommendation without establishing that the recommendation should be allowed to change a live system. The assurance question becomes stronger as authority increases: what evidence supports this action, under which conditions, and what would cause that authority to be reduced or removed?
Useful evidence boundaries
Record the decision context, data conditions, available actions, constraints, material outcome, observation window and escalation or revocation conditions. When those conditions change, the earlier evidence should not automatically be treated as transferable.
